TERMS OF SERVICE

By signing up for Arkangel Animals SOS services, you are agreeing to the following; We are not legally liable in the event of, including but not limited to, wellness checks or animal service actions if your emergency contact alerts any other service to check up on you or your pet. Attempts will be made to your emergency contact by us, but it is their responsibility to take necessary action to check on your pet’s wellbeing. if they fail to do so, Arkangel Animals SOS bears no responsibility for their actions, lack of action or what may occur after we have sent them our alert message. If you abuse our system, or fail to respond to our attempts at contacting you resulting in us having to contact your emergency contact repeatedly, we reserve the right to cancel your membership indefinitely and refuse service if you attempt to sign up for our service again. You acknowledge and agree that you have asked your emergency contact for permission to use them as an emergency contact for our service before signing up for our service so that they understand they will be contacted by us if you do not respond to our attempts at contacting you after three days. Our service is limited to sending an alert message to your emergency contact only, we will not personally check up on your animals on behalf of you or your emergency contact, anyone else or any other service. If you change your name, email or phone number, it is up to you to reach out to our customer service email so that we can update your information. You must respond to our emails or texts in order for our service to work properly and accurately. You must respond to our contact attempts to your email and/or phone number, otherwise your emergency contact will be alerted that you are unresponsive; this may result in your emergency contact alerting other services to check on you and/or your pet’s wellbeing if they are unable to do so. You agree and understand that we are not legally liable for this or your pet. You agree and understand that we are not legally liable for your emergency contact’s actions in any way, or other service provider’s actions, if your emergency contact reaches out to or alerts any other service due to you not responding to our contact attempts. Arkangel Animals SOS is not legally liable for email/text/internet system failures, computer software errors, human errors or technical failures resulting in an inability to contact you or your emergency contact. Every effort will be made by us to contact you within the first 3 days; by the end of day 4 if we are unable to contact you we will send the alert message to your chosen emergency contact that you have designated on the sign up form when filling out your information for our service. You must only use our service for a pet that you live with and have the ownership rights to. You understand that it is highly recommended that your animal has enough food and water provided to last them at least 3-4 days. It is your responsibility to make sure that the information you have provided us is accurate and complete. You agree that you have already asked your emergency contact permission to give their email as the emergency contact for our services. You also understand that it is highly recommended to have a conversation with your emergency contact in the event you are unresponsive and to have a plan that you both agree on in order for them to gain access to your pet if necessary and what happens to the pet if you are unable to care for it if something happens to you; this is a discussion and agreement that you should come to with your emergency contact, as each situation will be different and depend on the individuals involved. You agree to not hold Arkangel Animals SOS legally responsible for any liabilities including but not limited to; deaths or injuries that may occur as a result of technical or human error in our reporting system. You agree that you have received full permission from your emergency contact for Arkangel Animals SOS to reach out to them via email if necessary in order to fulfil our services. You agree that your emergency contact’s signature when they sign the “Written Consent Form” to receive texts or calls, is authentic and has been signed by your emergency contact. You acknowledge that our services cannot force your emergency contact person to take action to check up on your pet on your behalf and if they fail to do so, you absolve Arkangel Animals SOS of all responsibility in such an event. We reserve the right to cancel your monthly subscription if you abuse our services or do not take the steps necessary for our services to work accurately, such as but not limited to; failing to respond to the automatic emails that are sent to you every 3 days. You agree that you will not use Arkangel Animals SOS services as a way to get in contact with anyone that you are attempting to locate or communicate with and any violations of this, you will be held liable for. Arkangel Animals SOS reserves the right to deny services to anyone who abuses our system or repeatedly violates billing procedures. Refunds are not permitted once you have completed a purchase to Arkangel Animals SOS services. You agree that it is your responsibility to respond to every email or text that Arkangel Animals SOS sends to you in order for our service to work properly. Any lapse in responding to our emails or texts sent by Arkangel Animals SOS, may result in the company contacting you or your emergency contact, you accept as your liability and responsibility. You agree to not write false, misleading or derogatory reviews or comments about Arkangel Animals SOS. You agree to provide accurate and true information about yourself and your emergency contact in order to use our services. You agree to receive emails, texts and/or telephone calls from Arkangel Animals SOS. You understand that Arkangel Animals SOS is not a physical rescue service, it is an SOS alert service that reaches out to your emergency contact in the event that you are no longer responding to our operating system. You agree that if someone who has access to your email, responds to an email sent by Arkangel Animals SOS, it is your responsibility if it gives a false positive that you are still responsive. You agree that if you ignore our emails, yet continue to pay for our services, you accept any and all liabilities that may result from the use of our services. We reserve the right to cancel your subscription if you repeatedly do not respond to our emails or texts.
